Mouamed A. Mouamed Arrested in Lewiston

A drug dealer in Lewiston has been arrested following an August attack that left a robbery victim with a broken skull.

Leiston Police have arrested 21-year-old Mouamed A. Mouamed of Lewiston.

Mouamed attacked and robbed the victim, Ahmed Abdulle, 36, also of Lewiston, on Augusta 10th, 2018 around 1 am. After about a month of investigating, officers located and arrested Mouamed on the evening of September 7th. He was transported to Androscoggin County Jail.

Mouamed is facing Aggravated Assault, Robbery and Violations of Conditions of Release charges.

He had two outstanding warrants for his arrest for Unlawful Trafficking in Scheduled Drugs.

According to Lewiston Police, Mouamed is originally from Atlanta, Georgia. Lieutenant David St. Pierre of LDP, tells Maine First Media they are not aware of any gang connections Mouamed may have.
