9/13/18, Maine First Media Staff Report,
On the anniversary of the 9/11 Terror Attacks Democrat-in-Disguise, Sen. Angus King, said supposed Russian meddling in U.S. elections is the same as killing more than 3,000 Americans by flying planes into buildings.
King Angus made the shocking remarks while addressing a group of firefighters at a 9/11 Remembrance Event in Lewiston.
Sen. King’s 2018 opponent, State Senator Eric Brakey (R-Auburn) says King’s comments are deranged.
“I am appalled that Angus King, on today of all days, compared the brutal terrorist attacks of 9/11 and the murder of over 3,000 innocent Americans to Russian computer hackers,” Sen. Brakey said. “The two things are simply incomparable, and reflect the deranged thinking of Angus and his liberal allies. Sen. King’s crass statements are an insult to the victims, their families and our first responders. King should retract his statement immediately and apologize for his shameful remark.”
King and Brakey are facing off in the 2018 Midterms to determine who will be Maine’s next U.S. Senator. With opinions like this from the Leftist King, it is hard to figure out how the Green Crony Corporatist remains one of the most popular politicians in the Pine Tree State.
King leads Brakey by a large margin in polling. However, comments like these could draw the race closer as we more people are now paying attention as we approach election day in November.
While Sen. Brakey requests an apology from the Democrat-in-Disguise, it is unlikely King Angus will repent — as this is not the first time he’s made this offensive comparison.
Back in February, while being interviewed on CNN, Sen. King said Russia’s alleged tampering with U.S. elections was the “one of the most serious attacks on this country since September 11th.”
