The chief architect of President Donald Trump’s widlypopulat tax cuts could be the odds-on favorite to be the President’s top economic advisor.
CNBC contributor, Larry Kudlow is rumored to be the front-runner to replace the out-going Gary Cohn.
Kudlow had declined comment.
The free-market advocate, Kudlow, was an outspoken Trump supporter in the 2016 Presidential campaign.
Before his financial television career, Kudlow was an economic adviser to then-President Ronald Reagan.
Former National Economic Council, Gary Cohn resigned from his position earlier this month.
