11/16/17 Maine First Media Staff Report,
Radio news host, Leeann Tweeden is accusing sitting Democrat Senator, Al Franken (D-MN) of kissing and groping her without her consent.
Tweeden says the incident happened while the two of them were on a USO Tour entertaining troops back in 2006.
She has released a picture Sen. Franken took while Tweeden was passed out. The photo shows the former SNL star grabbing her breasts.
Unlike claims against Judge Roy Moore, who is running for Senate in Alabama, there is actual evidence backing up Tweeden’s claims.
Tweeden also says Franken pressured her to rehearse a kiss between the two he wrote for a skit, but then jammed his tongue in her mouth.
The Minnesota Democrat says he doesn’t remember the kiss going down the way Tweeden claims, but the picture was taken in an attempt to be funny.
Tweeden points out there’s nothing funny about the picture, calling it embarrassing, belittling and humiliating.
This isn’t the first time Sen. Franken has tried to play off sexual misconduct as “funny.”
Like most of the former “comedian’s” humor, the New York Magazine article was not funny.
Interestingly, while Maine’s Sen. Susan Collins was quick to tell Judge Moore he should step away from his bid for the U.S. Senate over allegations of misconduct…she has yet to make any calls for her colleague, Sen. Franken, to resign; when there is actual evidence of his misconduct.
Tweeden is currently a morning news anchor at 790 KABC in Los Angeles. She’s previously been a television host and sports broadcaster and model featured on the covers of FHM, Maxim and Playboy.
