During the crucial moments at the end of the G20 Summit President Donald J. Trump stated that he would ensure a pledge of $639 Million from America to assist in the feeding of the citizens from Somalia, Sudan, Nigeria, and Yemen.

Contrary to what critics may suggest, this is a brilliant move for America. By aiding in the nourishment of those nations America is essentially “off the hook” when it comes to future acceptance of refugees which are fleeing those war torn and agricultural disaster nations.

Trump not only gains points for charity granted but in the long run this will positively be collateral and capital gained to stand against accepting those refugees into the United States.

Trump’s pledge came during the final working session of the G20 summit of world leaders in Hamburg. David Beasley, executive director of the UN World Food Program said that “The United States was providing a godsend to the United Nations’ World Food Program.”
