President Trump’s Executive Order on Immigration and Refugees

Today it was announced that President Donald Trump is set to issue a temporary refugee ban and suspend visas for those from Libya, Iran, Iraq, Somalia, Syria, Sudan, and Yemen.

The refugee ban is expected to last for several months — until a more thorough vetting process can be implemented — but will make exceptions for religious minorities escaping persecution.
