Extremist group MPA holds rally in support of illegal immigrants and refugees

The extremist group Maine People’s Alliance organized a rally in Lewiston on Saturday to show support for undocumented immigrants as well as vetted and un-vetted refugees living in Maine. The rally drew approximately 225 people to the Franco Center.
Organizers and speakers at the rally failed to mention the link between the refugee communities of Maine and the terror groups al Shaabab and ISIS, the names of the victims of those who have been harmed or murdered by either illegal immigrants or refugees in Maine, and how social benefits that were once used to help Maine’s homeless military veterans and elderly have become thin or no longer exist due to the over-crowding of the welfare system.
In November 2016 Governor Paul LePage notified outgoing President Barack Obama that Maine will no longer be a part of the federal government’s refugee resettlement program. Despite this notification groups such as the Catholic Charities of Maine, who profit from bringing refugees into Maine, plan to bring at hundreds of refugees into Maine in 2017.
